189 pages, still never credible

if this thread gets to 200 pages, Herb will come back
12/4/2010 5:28:45 PM
It might get to 200 pages tonight.
12/4/2010 5:29:34 PM
well then watch your back...the ghost lurks
12/4/2010 5:30:26 PM
12/4/2010 5:44:11 PM
Of course... and Patrick Patterson. It probably wasn't clear, but I meant guys who were there two years ago who are still playing now. I could be wrong but I think only Miller and Liggins fit that bill...
12/4/2010 5:47:51 PM
Dude adder just stop man. I know we played Fairleigh Dickinson I was fucking there. I am not running from anyone. I was wrong because I don't count games against nobodies cool.[Edited on December 4, 2010 at 6:03 PM. Reason : Ill be sure I don't post anything "incorrect" from now on]
12/4/2010 5:54:49 PM
I am sick of people coming in here with "facts" that are simply incorrect first it was Chance coming in here talking about javi, wood and smith playing together and looking rough (truth is smith has been hurting the entire regular season) then you come in with your made up crap. Get it right if you want to have a functional argument otherwise stfu.
12/4/2010 6:20:07 PM
Please show me one think I've made up
12/4/2010 6:28:50 PM
12/4/2010 6:30:33 PM
What exactly is made up there? We scored 57 against Georgetown and 48 against Wisconsin. So by me leaving out a nobody I am making stuff up? You are unreal
12/4/2010 6:34:05 PM
YOU SAID OUR LAST TWO GAMES. Not our last two games against legitimate competition. Sounds like bullshit to me. Then you went on to say that you were deliberately being misleading making shit up.
12/4/2010 6:37:11 PM
Once again I was at the Fairleigh Dickinson game dumbfuck how many times do I have to repeat that. You are like arguing with a 5 year old. How about you chill and enjoy us playing well.[Edited on December 4, 2010 at 6:43 PM. Reason : making sure everything is correct ]
12/4/2010 6:42:34 PM
Just admit you made shit up just like chance. It is amazing how effective this team can be when the other team is actually called for fouls ...
12/4/2010 6:48:54 PM
12/4/2010 6:51:27 PM
I would say it's more about effort and defensive intensity....still seems like majority of calls going against us.
12/4/2010 6:58:38 PM
I'm just saying, I went and looked at the gamelog of the Wisconsin gameBrown was fouled on a shot 13 seconds into the game at the 19:47 mark, hit both free throwsThe next Badger foul wasn't called until 7 minutes and change into the SECOND half, while we were called for 16 in that spanas far as beatup faces though, Vandy wasn't called for his first foul tonight until almost 15 minutes into the game ]
12/4/2010 7:00:22 PM
Irrelevant for that particular game.Anyway, very happy to see the response after that game. I don't think Syracuse is a particularly great game but that was a great coaching move to switch up the defense on them, no question about it.adder, I agree with you in general a lot, but to continue harping on "facts" when one of the main parts of your argument the past half page or so has been we "could have won if we had Tracy" which is about as flimsy and unsupportable opinion that one can have.
12/4/2010 7:07:37 PM
Actually the only game that I said that about was georgetown. Wisconsin was most likely a loss no matter what but GT I think could have been a win. Also I am putting that as an opinion not a statement of fact. Very big difference. The qualifier I think is a pretty big hint...[Edited on December 4, 2010 at 7:17 PM. Reason : Furthermore]

Questionable keeping Harrow on the bench so long. Javi was playing well, but you don't have to take him out to put Harrow in. Take Zo out for a breather and at least put him in the game. He was instrumental in our first half comeback.
12/4/2010 7:19:28 PM
not trying to harp on the Wisconsin loss, but how is that 27 minute foul-less span on Wisconsin not relevant? a team is going to get frustrated and mentally lose focus when no calls go their way. Not saying we would've won, not trying to keep talking about that game, but a stat like that astounded me, and you could tell how differently the players were playing as a result]
12/4/2010 7:19:43 PM
WTF was that
12/4/2010 7:20:52 PM
12/4/2010 7:22:20 PM
Just post it again asshole.
12/4/2010 7:25:10 PM
that's what we drew up?
12/4/2010 7:29:35 PM
Still credibleSeems he can't draw up a play in timeout to save his life, thoughadder shut up already
12/4/2010 7:30:29 PM
fuck him, and fuck all of you carpetbagging lowe supporters. 189 pages and no ncaa appearances ought to tell you something
12/4/2010 7:30:37 PM
at least they showed up tonight...
12/4/2010 7:31:20 PM
We looked pretty good down the stretch. I'm not convinced it isn't because Syracuse watched our Wisconsin game so closely that they decided to mimic us from about the same point in the first quarter until near the end.
12/4/2010 7:32:19 PM
^^ At least our bigs weren't all in foul trouble halfway through the first half...Although I would add that Painter having to go out with 4 was the turning point of the game. Not having Smith hurts us yet again.[Edited on December 4, 2010 at 7:34 PM. Reason : asdfs]
12/4/2010 7:33:11 PM
Several things (even though this game isn't over yet)....Scott Wood kept us in the game in the first half. If not for him, we get blown out early and Cuse never looks back. Once we got back in the game, we adjusted well to the zone. Harrow and Leslie were instrumental in that run. Yet for some fucking reason, Harrow doesn't see the court again in the 2nd half until the fucking 6 minute mark. I just don't understand it. His stats won't jump out on you, but he ran shit during that run.I don't care how well we played, the NCAA doesn't give a shit come tourney time. A loss is a fucking loss and right now we don't have any good wins for our tourney resume. We're going to need to go 10-6 in the shitty ACC to make the tourney with our OOC record right now.Our plays coming out of timeouts are fucking horrible. That's coaching.I'm still tourney or bust on Lowe right now. I hate to see him waste all of this talent with his less than average coaching ability.

12/4/2010 7:35:03 PM
^^Harrow wasn't a threat to score an Javi was. That was why Javi was on the floor. Also a senior should be a safer beat to play ball control and maybe hold on to the win. I wish Wood had been spelled more he was too tired by the end to be effective.[Edited on December 4, 2010 at 7:36 PM. Reason : ^^]
12/4/2010 7:35:39 PM
12/4/2010 7:37:14 PM
Two assists and five points from Harrow in the first halfNot sure why you think he was the key
12/4/2010 7:37:20 PM
also dont tell packboozie that we will need 10 acc wins
12/4/2010 7:38:38 PM
this game proved to me that we have the playerslowe has until the end of the season to prove we have the coach
12/4/2010 7:38:50 PM
12/4/2010 7:40:51 PM
Harrow and Javi were in at one point
12/4/2010 7:41:48 PM
harrow still has a lot of issues adjusting the college game. not saying javi doesnt either, but I didnt see a big problem with the handling of that today. he probably should have got him earlier in the 2nd half but we were doing well with javi. i think we flatlined scoring from the field as soon as we put harrow in
12/4/2010 7:43:31 PM
12/4/2010 7:43:32 PM
What has Harrow done against quality competition that makes you think he's some sort of gamebreaker?
12/4/2010 7:45:07 PM
wow, what a great job by Lowe today, eat it haters.
12/4/2010 7:49:32 PM
Don't bite on this troll please
12/4/2010 7:54:49 PM
This was obviously a pretty good coaching job by Sid tonight. Not perfect, but pretty good.Regardless -- and I'm as guilty of making every game seem like an entire season as anyone else -- the decision to retain or release him will be made on the entirety of the season and of his five years here. Not on a game in Madison or Syracuse in December.
12/4/2010 7:56:26 PM
I don't think December losses to top 25 teams hurt us as much as some of you think. If we go .500 in the ACC and have a solid ACC tournie showing then I think we'll be good even in a down ACC. That's assuming of course, that some of those ACC wins are against quality teams and we don't pick them all up from GT/Wake/etc.
12/4/2010 8:04:23 PM
8-8 absolutely does not get in this year dude....unless its UNC
12/4/2010 8:07:03 PM
I just cant over how good we looked today given the circumstances. Of course you have morons on the internet bitching about this and that but we were a well coached team tonight. We looked solid on both ends, we just couldn't force any turnovers and we had a few too many mental errors on turnovers. The refs obviously didn't help with all the touch fouls on us and no calls on contact on Cuse. The egregious call was the travel on Leslie when Syracuse pulled him to the floor on the rebound. The FT disparity was too much for us to overcome.Great to see Painter and Vandenburg give us quality minutes in a road game against a top 10 team. Leslie was the best player on the court all game and made us all forget about the overhyped Fab Melo. Javier played great and Harrow looked serviceable as a backup PG. Wood looked like a weapon even though he melted down again in the 2nd half (getting a little too familiar with that every game). Lo Brown just couldn't get the rolls to go in but he was instrumental in breaking down the zone since CJ Williams was so ineffective on offense...Overall just a great job by Lowe. Placing Howell behind the defense gave their defense fits trying to guard the perimeter. If we had Tracy we win that game fairly easily thats whats so frustrating about this season. We finally get the talent in place and we get handcuffed by an injury to the one player we couldn't afford to lose.Anyway, the Fire Lowe train is off the tracks. Even the most negative "fans" can't help but be impressed with the direction our program is headed now.

^^Very true the ACC is really looking bad this year.[Edited on December 4, 2010 at 8:08 PM. Reason : ssfg]
