FYI regarding eligibility and next year since I was a bit confused - The only guys we lose are Joiner and My Whore Chick (and likely Smith but there has apparently been talk of him returning, depending on draft grades). We should be pretty solid next year as well...KK finally turning the corner?

This is the last season of eligibility for Burns (Grad Transfer). This is probably the last year for Morsell (SR who has transferred), as I understand it, and this is Graham's 4th season as a walk-on. I suppose he could go here and walk on for grad school if he wants to? I've heard rumors people have to change schools to get a grad year of eligibility but I'm pretty sure that's not true. Clark is classified as a Junior, but someone who reads the tealeaves more than me would have to say if he's gone or not next year.

Burns, Clark, and Morsell all have one more year of eligibility left assuming they chose to return…this is only their 4th NCAA season and everyone got one more year for the COVID season (Dusan/Joiner are on year 5 so they are done). Why wouldn’t they return for another year, now with NIL and them getting paid?

It doesn’t matter what their current class is listed as (grad/senior)…only matters how many years of eligibility they’ve used up. They all have one year remaining due to the COVID year.

For Burns and Clark, with them coming from a smaller programs and shit teams, I’d assume they probably want to enjoy the whole experience a bit more. Especially so if we have potential for a NCAA appearance.

I had it in my head that Burns and Morsell were in their final year. That's fantastic. Hope they stay.

I missed most of the ND game the other night. I saw the 2 TOs and thought it had to be a mistake. That's a hell of a team performance with taking care of the ball.

Lol i was looking up some stats and glanced at the free throw attempts per team. Unsurprisingly UNC is first with 521 attempts. 2nd is WF with 411. We are 3rd at 390. Last place is ND with 284. So the gap between UNC and WF is nearly as large as the gap between the 2nd and 15th place teams.

Last year UNC had a 223 attempt lead on the second place team, while the spread between 2 and 15 was only 135.

You have to go back to 2019-20 to get to a year where UNC did not have hundreds more FTA on the year than anyone else. They were only 4th in the league that year. Prior to that, Duke was the team with the huge FT disparity.

Just be consistent. Smith‘a second foul was a horrendously bad charge call. He then gets elbowed/shouldered on a Wake drive and admittedly flops but get no call. Consistency is all you need in this game.

I’m sorry for continuing to talk about the refs. They haven’t been as bad as I’ve made it out to be. But it’s wild how few calls burns gets. It’s like he’s so big and just absorbs the contact that the refs never call it.
