I think I'm gonna go ahead and get a 24 or 26 carolina skiff dlv by the end of the year

had a slight change detour this summer, but I should have it by years end

the guy next to me at Hatteras had a nice 24' DLV

and some other pics I took at Hatteras

the hatteras in the middle with teh white/blue hull took us out for a good day of fishing

if these pics don't make you want to be rich, nothing will

after a day of fishing

I saw a few out today... this would have been a perfect weekend for a quick trip down to the beach (reminds me of MLK weekend last year... 70 and sunny!). I hate being sick

I work in the boat sales industry and want a little unscientific research from any TWWers willing to give it, just to see what types of publications and websites fellow boat lovers enjoy:

General:
What boating websites do you check out (regularly or randomly)?

When you're in the market for a boat:
Where do you do your research?
Where do you look for available boats that fit your interests?

Feel free to PM. Thanks!

Anybody have any experience/opinions on Triumph boats? I'm looking at 3-5 year old 17-19' CC's, and there seem to be few Triumph's around for decent prices. Online reviews and the owner's forum seem pretty positive, just curious what you anyone here thinks...

triumphs are pretty tough rides and affordable... I've looked into them as an inshore ride

but price doesn't mean anything, my friend broke his 38' Yellowfin with 4 300's on it in half the other day while fishing

the owner of Yellowfin Boats told him it was how he loaded it on the trailer and wouldn't help fix it, the owner of Yellowfin now needs dental work to fix his grill

Easley likely to veto the new boating hauling regulations that would make it legal to trailer boats up to 10 feet wide.

How far in miles is it from Morehead or Beaufort to Wilmington? Was thinking of taking the boat down the intercoastal one weekend but was interested in knowing excatly how far that was.

Is this a true story? All of it? I thought I heard of the boat breaking in half, but I didn't hear about anyone getting teeth in their tonsils over it.

Yellowfin does not, and never has, produced a 38' boat. I have absolutely no idea how someone could "break a boat in half" by fishing. You'd have to be doing something like running WOT in shitty seas to have a chance of damaging the hull of a Yellowfin. I could see major damage being done to an Angler or Sea Fox, but not Yellowfin. I also can't believe that someone took a shot at Wiley. This all sounds like bullshit.
