Both Obama and Bush get credit. Bush helped put in the infrastructure necessary and get the diplomacy started that allowed Pak and the U.S. to share intelligence information. Obama gets credit because he saw it through acted when he needed to. I'm a republican, and have no issues giving Obama his dues. He could have easily packed it in.

now they are saying that they took some dna samples from bin Laden's body after he was killed but before he was buried at sea.

How long did this whole operation take place? They were making it sound like it was a difficult mission to get in and get out of the country, and according to that guy's tweets last night, it all went down only an hour or two before it was announced worldwide. Just seems like a lot of stuff took place (killing bin laden, taking pictures, getting him out of the country and on a boat, taking dna samples, preparing his body for an "islamic burial", etc.)

I'm not trying to be any sort of conspiracy theorist, I believe he is dead, I'm just curious how it went down
