just because it's been made viral by Gen Zers I guess?

I've gotten plenty of blank stares from employees all of my life lol - even if I don't say anything objectionable (which I never would to an employee, unless they are being a piece of shit)

I feel like it's more of a being in public and/or being an employee kind of thing, not really specific to Gen Z. I guess it's covering for the fact that they don't know how to properly make conversation?

IDK, they can take credit for whatever they want. credit won't matter after the world blows up, and internet society has been forgotten
