not demeanor or general behaviors which don't really affect anyone directly, but specific situations

alternate thread: women using their hormones as an excuse for their behavior towards others

discuss

IDK, I feel like some of them can control some of their behaviors, but use it as a crutch. I'm sure the more severe it is, then they can't, but some people.. idk man. like I don't see the point in advertising online that you're autistic. what good is that doing? seems to me like it just makes you a target for bullying or something. Also I'm pretty sure I've made a similar thread before

I'm positive I'm on the spectrum (undiagnosed), so I'm not shitting on them or anything. I just think some people use their disorders to get themselves out of situations that they could have prevented to begin with

in sum, don't have kids everyone. your kids suck, and are probably going to be autistic

this is been another BB vague thread

This lady came to speak to us about missions one time. She was sooooo awkward. The second time she came back, she explained that some of her social shortcomings were due to a recent autism diagnosis. Now she could get help and help others deal with their condition. I don't buy it.

Whenever I go around the house making random noises, my wife accuses me of being on the spectrum. I understand those people.

the spectrum is wide enough that I imagine 90% of humans are on it to some degree lol. disorders are too over-classified IMO

like it really doesn't benefit a child whose autism isn't severe to get an official diagnosis

if it's debilitating, that's another story

I probably do use my presumed 'tism to work in my favor, I suppose

I'm just smart enough to know where the line is, so if I tiptoe over it, I can generally get out of situations with a certain type of quirky, but endearing behavior let's hope that lasts

I've always been good about staying just out of trouble lol
