why are we back?

I never really went away. I've always been here. Much like herpes, I'm ever-present, though there have been times where I don't post as much.

This is probably one of those times, where I'm not around as much as I used to be. Possible reasons might include:
- There aren't any hoes on TWW anymore. Even if there were, I'm married.
- Life gets in the way. I'm usually too busy with work, and scratching myself to be hanging around here.
- Some large part of me feels like my time as a TWW all-star is in the past, and it's well past time for a new generation to take the reigns. Also, my presence may potentially intimidate n00bs*
-Almost none of the crew I would hang with still posts.

I still stick around TWW because:
- Nostalgia. And that this is a web relic. It's also one of the first message boards I remember joining and being active on
- I actually enjoy the discourse here. Be it the ability to shit post, or actually have a conversation with somewhat educated assholes.
- I detest Facebook. I never really got into Twitter, and deleted my account when Musk bought it.
- Old friends still pop in every now and then.
- I'm supposed to be moderating, even though there isn't much for me to do these days. And I enjoy reading your PMs.


*Yes, I realize there aren't any new registrations currently.
