I'm blowing the lid off this whole scam. Biscotti is just cut-up pieces of a big fucking cookie. What a scam. Why would you ever bother with biscotti when you could just not cut up the big cookie and have a big cookie? I can't believe I never saw it before.

I'm so mad about this. It's just a way to sell one cookie to four people. What a bunch of bullshit.

I like to dip biscotti in coffee. If you have a big cookie and try and cut it up...it could break apart.BISCOTTI ALL DAY!

^ probably tongue-in-cheek usage of "stale", but if not, define it.IMO, there is only one way to eat biscotti: dipped in hot milky tea or coffee.***************************If y'all get a chance to buy the product below, do it. They are like crack.Yes, they are actually soft and chewy, and super scrumptious.http://www.traderjoes.com/digin/post/softbaked-biscotti-with-dried-figs

Did you just ask someone to define "stale" ^^ !?

Bump. I just ate one of these bullshits with my coffee. My conviction endures.

^^ Yes, I did, because biscotti ? "stale cookie", using the definition of "stale" that's used almost exclusively.^ Did you take a bite then take a sip to let the biscotti soften in the mouth, or did you dunk and eat? I haven't had one for a couple of years now at least, but when I do, I dunk into my hot tea for a while until it becomes soft. Takes a while as they are so dense and hard. Can't remember exactly, but I guess a 10-15 sec dunk, maybe up to 20 sec depending on thickness and temp of the drink. And you gotta get one with a strong flavor to enjoy it, otherwise the plain ones or those with mild flavors are, well, boring.
8/17/2017 10:01:56 AM
I dunked and ate. It was damn near instantaneous. The cookie piece got soft fast.
8/17/2017 2:59:55 PM
Hmmm... maybe then I am all hazy on the details as I haven't had one for some years.Anyway, the point is to let it soften to the degree you like. Some like their baked-flour-product to turn out mushy after dunking, some prefer it still retains some of the crunchiness/crispness. So you have to adjust the dunking time according to your preference, the product, and the beverage to achieve optimal-to-you results.
