Hello,
Not sure if anyone has an idea on this.
If I go to remote into a computer using MSTSC
I go in type in the server name, and then my username and password.
We have that Certificate checking stuff on, now If i see the window and respond Ignore I'm golden, but because I multitask like a crazy person sometimes I end up clicking on another window before that certificate error pops up.
The problem is at that point i'm Unable to find that window again, and my MSTSC will be effectivly locked up/unresponsive waiting for user input.
Starting another MSTSC session doesn't help either, and will not connect or display the certificate message.
as an admin taskkill /f /im mstsc.exe /t will kill all the sessiosn, but again starting a new MSTSC instance won't allow me to connect.
Any thoughts on this? Anyway to find these hidden windows? I've had the same thing happen in PowerShell as some of my scripts prompt for credentials which then seem to get hidden/disspear if I switch apps.
Alt-Tab does not display them btw.
Nor are they restored by a winkey-d or winkey-shift m
