being poured into a cup of ice. Coke/Pepsi have pretty much modified my brain through decades of pervasive advertising

i agree
9/17/2010 2:44:01 PM
to me, it is the sound of impending carbonation about to spill over the top lol
9/17/2010 2:47:01 PM
I thought about the sound you just described and now I am craving a soda
9/17/2010 2:49:13 PM
I like the sound of the ice cracking.
9/17/2010 2:55:40 PM
after emptying the can I like to hold it up to my ear and listen to it crackle
9/17/2010 3:06:54 PM
I agree with the OP
9/17/2010 3:07:56 PM
ah mt. dew. and finished off the rumm.
9/17/2010 3:18:49 PM
I don't like the commercials with the sound of someone pouring water out of a Brita filter into a cup with no ice.It makes me desire urination.
9/17/2010 3:19:59 PM
The sounds of a can being cracked open is a lot more evocative in my opinion
9/17/2010 3:30:19 PM
that sound makes me slightly anxiousi had a bad experience with a shaken soda can when i was a kid[Edited on September 17, 2010 at 3:32 PM. Reason : to this day i still won't drink Coke from a can]
9/17/2010 3:31:55 PM

8/21/2017 12:10:23 PM
Why do you need ice if the drink is already cold
8/21/2017 12:55:12 PM

8/21/2017 1:16:49 PM
justinh524 the weird kid who drinks cold soda out of a cup with no ice, who borrowed your copy of Contra and never gave it back, whose mama never paid for one of his haircuts, who had jackets on his textbooks made out of ABC Store bags, whom nobody's dog would let pet, who would take everyone's pickle at lunch if they didn't want them, who always had milk breath, who wore hand-me-down eyeglasses, whose shoes had Velcro up to and including graduation, who traded cigarettes for gum, who had to do book reports instead of science fair because one of his experiments was putting a frog in a jar with firecrackers, who always called out the roadkill during the bus ride, who ate Ricky Little's booger for five dollars, who

I'd eat those boogers again in a heartbeat for 5 bucks
8/21/2017 1:42:00 PM
i drink my sodas room temp out of the can cause i would drink too many if i put them in the fridge and ice waters it down
8/21/2017 6:31:50 PM
Any of y'all know people who don't refrigerate their soda?I got family who either take it room temp over ice, watering it down, or they stick cans in the freezer when they want a cold soda later on. But they don't put it in the refrigerator. Two liters live on the counter, and cans stay in the garage.I take note of people who don't replace the caps tightly on soda bottles. They are not my people.
8/21/2017 10:54:32 PM
Advertising is one thing, but pouring carbonated soda over ice kills the carbonation.
8/21/2017 11:12:09 PM
I can drink most sodas room temperature. Cheerwine is a notable exception. That shit is gross not cold.My grandmother used to keep 2 liters not in the refrigerator. Now that I think of it, 2 liters started on the counter in our house growing up. But we almost never had soda, only if it was leftover from a birthday party or something. But yeah I put my shit in the refrigerator, thus ice is pointless. I don't let my drinks sit for hours
8/22/2017 8:56:08 AM
SODA AT ROOM TEMPERATURE? YOU MFers NEED JESUS.
8/23/2017 7:55:20 AM

8/23/2017 12:50:12 PM
