4. Only the topics I started are supposed to be in there. Occasionally I accidentally add another one with an errant tap, but I remove it when I notice, as I just did for one.

^sometimes I search based on username, and if I forget which user made it, and can't remember an exact keyword, my topics is useful. But that is relatively rare, and I almost never use my topics. Unless its a topic I made lol
