It makes NO sense to me.

It basically infers that there is physical attraction but that there could never be mental/emotional attachment which in itself means there is a bias against the skin color itself or the stigma attached to being seen as "dating" said skin color.

I think what ShinAntonio is trying to say is that its not the saying "you people" that is coming across. but that it sounds like a black person is suitable for sex but not suitable for a relationship.

it can also be kind of bothersome when you notice that its not that people aren't willing to date outside of their race... its just they aren't willing to date your specific race. lol.

Well, I think everyone thinks that is normal. I'm more attracted to natural brunettes than I am blondes (though I'm a sucker for dirty blondes) and to shorter/smaller girls than taller girls. That is solely a physical attraction though and I'm not making values judgments based off it.

Saying that you ARE physically attracted to a [black] guy and that you would sleep with him and then saying you would never date that same person that you are physically attracted to means that you there is some other inherent characteristic about the race/skin color that makes them undesirable, no? I mean unless you go around fucking people you aren't attracted to, in which case you have other issues.

Not being attracted to someone of a certain race is just as simple and equally justifiable as not liking red heads or fat girls

the fact of the matter is that melanndelyn is either assuming she could never have an emotional connection with a black guy or would never date a black guy even if they had a physical and emotional connection, which crosses the line of having a preference to the pure and discriminatory.

I'm not ragging her for her choice, but people would be better off if they were honest with themselves about their own biases and discrimination. I've boinked an oinker or two in my day but never would have dated them because of their weight. in this regard i'm no better a person than melanndelyn and she is no worse.
