I gave up fast food a few years ago actually. I went back to my checking account and totaled up every dollar I spent on Fast Food over the course of one month - basically any place with a DriveThru. It was not pretty. So for Lent I gave up any food that originated in a place with a DriveThru. It was a beautiful thing.

I'm not Catholic either, but it's fun to participate and test yourself - just to see if you can do it!
