nice, i figured you'd be cutting it close. i stopped for a frosty and a double stack on the way back and i was about 15 minutes late.

so i played it cool and sat in someone elses office for like 10 min with the door shut, then came out and pretended like we'd been discussing shit

^ could not find cables in an 07 maxima (might have lost those), but we just bought my mom an m3 or something for her bday last week. so i called her to ask if she could come by with cables, and she called back and said she had no cables in her car

and i actually stopped by and checked for myself a while ago, to see what else she didnt have for just that reason (you hate having your mom riding around without backup shit, ya know) - she has a spare, jack, roadside service, all that. just no fucking cables.

edit: clarify. MAZDA m3, there was no birthday BMW

yeah, i was thinking after i posted that m3 sounded like a bmw. and i know this is a mazda m3. maybe that means mazda 3? i dont know. it gets 24/31 mileage though, its a nice car for a chick i think. kinda looks more slick than it cost, etc

there's no Mazda M3. There's a "3" and there's a "MazdaSpeed 3", which is the sports turbo version.

i rented a fucking Mercedes in Europe that didn't have intermittent wipers

i was like WTF

I'm driving a god damn Mercedes

without intermittent wipers

and without leather seats

and without i think high beams

that thing was a fucking piece of shit

but at least it wasn't one of these..

Mercedes isn't just a luxury brand in Europe, they build strippers out there. Hell on the C and E class leather is an OPTION (crazy stupid shit IMO)

yeah, I realized that after I got out there.. it was a diesel engine...reasonably quick, i got up to around 120mph/192kmph on the autobahn but it was sprinkling so I never had the balls to go any faster than that

most people still don't believe me though that Mercedes isn't all luxury over there, they have some stripped down models.

Hell, Mercedes makes minivans in Europe. People here were probably unaware that there are both a Merc A class and a Merc B class as well as the C, E, etc.

my aunt's minivan came with an on board air compressor. pretty cool.

most newer cars are smart enough to shut themselves down after a pre set time or when the battery voltage drops to a certain level if you leave lights on, door open, or whatever. still doesn't help if your battery just plain goes bad.

Ivan, while I agree thats cool I can also say that my car has an air compressor. It was $10, I bought it at Target, and it's stowed in the spare tire well.
