What are the requirement for post count and longevity?

I obviously read a great many more threads than I post in, but I still post once or twice a day.

If you consider me a lurker, I read The Lounge, Shit Chat, and Old School. I almost never venture away from those three boards. That is only because of a personal preference. I once in a blue moon read TSB & Entertainment, but I have no use for The Garage, Tech Talk, or the Classifieds.

The Feedback Forum is a whine and cheese place for friends of suspended users and I am not in school right now, so study hall is out.

i lurked for a few months before i started posting. mostly chit chat. usually just to keep up with what was going on around campus or whatever. was mostly just a time killer, like it is now, but i participate a little more now.

I lurked on and off for years.. just looking at Chit Chat for new, revolutionary things on the internet (like, 2girls1cup) and at sports talk because i'm growing to dislike espn more and more... plus nobody would ever cover any NC State sports anyways.

I never posted for those years because it seemed like TWW was a bunch of dicks...but then I got drunk and signed up anyways.

I really just lurk in Chit Chat. It's hilarious when people get worked up, and a good source for humorous/good porn. Checking out what is on the boards is a good way to kill time when you've got 10 minutes to kill.

I think a lot of people lurk because there are too many asshole trolls that will bust their chops at every point.
Some of you bastards on here are a bunch of vicious cannids and it scares people from taking part and keeps them lurking.

I lurked for a while after "quitting" because I wanted to stay in the loop of what was going on without having to take part.
