Yeah, I'll admit it. I'd be scared to join up. I'm scared to die. No shame in saying that. If I had to join, I'd try to join as some kind of support staff, since I'm a meteorology major. I don't think I could go out there and actually be directly responsible for another's person death. I have American Pride, but I don't think I could bring myself to actually kill another person.

If it was just an individula we go after i would not waste my time joining. If it turns out we are going to get a real war brewing here I would join in and help deal some cld methodical irradication of the scum-full countires that harbor and finance these groups and then get on CNN and claim no involvement.

for the military guys here...for me to become an officer in the reserves, i hafta go to Parris Isl., become a reservist, then graduate w/ diploma and apply for officer? my g/f was in Navy JROTC in HS and that's what she said...i have been considering this for a while for financial reasons... i was considering just going ROTC, but she said that without a scholarship ROTC gets expensive, and i would have a 6-year active duty commitment if i stayed in ROTC for 2 years...could i join Jr. year and avoid the 2-yr commitment?
