damnit i wanted to go see the world trade center and now i never will. those towers were so symbolic of NYC and the nation as a whole. i wonder what will be built to replace them?

Fuck that, I say we bomb the shit out of Bin Laden, and most of Afghanistan. Then after we're done bombing the shit out of them, we bomb the shit out of them again. Once we're done with that, we send 2/3 of the military in there and have them all take a shit at the same time on everything.

You know, I've often wondered what things would happen in my lifetime that would be documented in history books long after I'm gone. There's Desert Storm which is already in them, (forgive my chronological mistakes) then the Oklahoma bombing, the first bombing on the WTC...and now this. The first one seems so miniscule now doesn't it? I'm sitting here in Charlotte. Most of the downtown area here has been evacuated for precautionary measures. I keep looking out the window...I swear if I see a plane fly overhead before they announce that the airports have been reopened I'm going to lose it.

IT is all civilian airports that are closed. Right now all american airspace is considered Military airspace. I just got back from work at RDU and it is now under military control and will go into FULL lockdown effective 3pm. No one is allowed on or off airport property after 3, only employees with Full Access badges even have a chance. Dont go out that way, heavy security.
