i got the game yesterday and played a couple rounds...no connection issues but they were smaller maps. maybe that helped

i am on most nights. not been able to get up with many decent squads. :/

I just got a squad sprint ability which would rock if i had a good squad. I may get a headset to help with finding a squad.. but it doesnt seem too many people have headsets.

Also just unlocked the M11014 shotgun, it's crazy with suppression fire, i can take down whole squads if i come at the correct angle.

I wish they had more large rural levels with tanks/planes/boats and destructible buildings like BFBC2 had.. I feel they have gotten away from the BFBC2 concept of total destruction with all the indestructible containers and other bullshit laying around.

Considering that BFBC2 did not have planes, it also had many indestructible elements, combined with the fact that BF3 is a sequel of BF2 which had very limited destructibility (BFBC2 is a sequel of BFBC) BF3 has considerably more overall destructibility and considerably larger more open maps. Maybe you've just been playing the tight city maps.

^ yea I posted that when it came out and now with the addition of the new maps it seems more 50/50 for open vs close city maps, still wish it had more destructability like the bad company series(aka you can flatten an entire village to the foundation including the MCOM station building for the really annoying campers).

Started the campaign yesterday on 360 and have 2 levels left. I definitely think the graphics are good, but it's definitely a harder game than mw3 in terms of how much damage you can absorb before you die...

MW3 is a mongrul. Between counterstrike with instant gratification for being a goober and golden eye on easy auto aim mode. Caters to the consol players alone that need kid gloves. BFBC2 was similar to this. Taking half a clip to kill someone, etc.
