Atletico has purged itself of Aguero, de Gea and now Forlan in one offseason. Good luck at Inter, although I hope he's not the club's response to losing Eto'o. Forlan was the best player at the WC but struggled last year.

Netherlands just destroyed San Marino in Euro 2012 qualification 11-0. RvP with 4 goals. San Marino hasn't scored a goal in international competition in something like 3 years.

England beats Bulgaria 3-0, Rooney with 2.

When they ended the highlights on Fox Soccer Report, they were like, "be reminded that the population of San Marino is 1/3 of Billings, Montana."

Yep, Dortmund was attacking, but luckily couldn't finish. Should be an interesting 2nd half.

Chelsea win 2-0 over Bayer

Going into the game I was hoping for a draw, but so close to getting 3 for the Gunners.

Napoli played great defense the entire game. There was always 8 or 9 guys back and yet they were still able to make decent runs at goal. Almost came out of Etihad with a win.

Either the audio is a little behind or the color guy knew the ball was going in the moment he struck it. Jozy's pretty good when he doesn't have go chasing down balls lobbed to him from midfield.

That must have been what happened when De Jong came on for Dzeko mysteriously as they were down 2 goals.

Mancini says he brought De Jong on for Dzeko to calm things down for 5-10 minutes and not give up a 3rd goal because Bayern were bossing them around the field; afterwards he was going to bring Tevez on. Dzeko threw a fit and somehow Tevez involved himself in the spat with Mancini, afterwards Tevez wouldn't warm up or go on.

This is Roberto Carlos talking about Eto'o

Quote :
"He added that Eto'o is enjoying his time in Russia. "He has always been a 'Madridista'. He is happy and not just because of the money, but because of the fans who have been treating him well.""

How is Eto'o a madridista? Or was that a jab at Barca?

he started out at madrid, but i don't think he ever played for the senior squad. pretty sure it was just roberto carlos being cheeky.

I had no idea he spent a season at Madrid. I guess it makes a little more sense now. Either way I don't see those crazy Russians being able to buy an all star team a la Citeh.

Hulk/Neymar up front with support from Ronny is fucking sick.

I hope we see an open match with a lot of chances and goals given the circumstances.

Rooney banned for 3 matches. Will miss the group stage. Now England has an excuse for underperforming.

Such a stupid ban. I realize that a straight red carries a 3 game ban with it, but when Arshavin got a straight red at the last Euros UEFA only gave him a 2 game ban. Rooney's getting a raw deal from Platini and his band of stooges.**

**I'm not saying any of this because I'm a ManU fan, I just want consistency from UEFA.

Not that any of this matters though b/c England won't do shit anyway.
