Tell that to the guy that came into my ER a few years ago after being found walking northbound in the LANE of I-95. Blood tests, urinalysis, and even SPIT came up clean. Nurses were hypothesizing at that point that it could have been a possession for all they knew, and from how erratically and insane he was acting. He fought like a son of a bitch and was barely coherent.

Luckily the anesthesiologists were able to put him out long enough for the spinal tap. I had to put him in a front facelock with legs wrapped around his, while wearing a lead apron, so the doctor could take the goddamn lumbar puncture to figure out what the fuck was wrong with him before he woke up and crippled himself while a giant needle was piercing his spine.

Sure as shit, the test came back as an LSD deposit at the base of his spinal cord that had worked itself into the brain. The mother of all flashbacks, basically. The guy had been clean for 28 years, with no prior history of anything even remotely similar to it.

It wasn't pretty dude... I've seen it. Rare? You bet your ass. Even the research physicians had never seen anything like it, so they of course had to document the case and study the guy like a lab rat.

so yeah, not "bull shit," and even if rare, I'd rather be on the safe side. Timothy Leary's ideology is overrated and counterintuitive anyhow.

No one said that no one has problems with acid, I just said the majority don't.

I personally know 30yr olds who did acid for over 5 years, sometimes multiple times a day and these guys are Engineer graduates.

Also it's know any hallucinogen can bring out already present mental disabilities.
