1) how is everyone tonight?

2) when you buy a headboard does it normally come with the hardware to attach it to the frame? if not - what do you do/how do you know what to buy?

3) today i visited a little dog at the shelter. he is a terrier mix between 3-5 years old and he was SOOOO sweet. will post his pic in a little. should i get him? i kinda wanna get him and name him harper or gatsby. but only if he passes the cat test. if not, i will just sponsor him so he gets adopted i guess.

-depends on the headboard. are there running boards as well? if it's just the headboard, then the bedframe will probably screw into that. if it's the headboard, running boards, and footboard, the frame MIGHT screw into that. but most likely, you will need these slats that run across the bed (from running board to running board) to support the mattress and boxspring.

ok!! here is the doggy. right now his name is "ladies man" and this isn't a fantastic picture but i will look on the animal shelter website to see if theres more. this is me trying to hold him for a pic today!




and THIS is my new bedframe w/ new duvet and shams. i def need some decorative pillows to add some color (but what color? navy? purple? brown?). pics are taken with my laptop cause i'm dumb and left my camera in raleigh BUT i think it looks good. the bedframe will be up a little higher when i actually screw it in right and it isn't just sitting on the floor up against the wall. i think for $99 the bedframe looks pretty good.

You should get some new, oversize pillows to fill out your shams. Then you can put regular pillowcases on the ones you have. The pillows are what makes that bed sooo lush. Love the color of the spread!

i know i definitely need oversized pillows for the shams! the color is the same as the bottom pic, just dark because of my computer camera haha

but yea i think i will get some oversized pillows to fill out the shams and then i can put white pillow cases on my regular pillows! and maybe a white throw blanket or something!

1: meh, I ruined a perfectly good evening lat night with being crazy and it has carried over to today.

2: I have that same problem right now, I have no idea what kind of screws/bolts/whatever I need to attach my headboard to the metal bed frame

3: GET HIM, HE IS ADORABLE <3 Keeping my dog was probably one of the best decisions I made last year.

and NO worries, i ruined a perfectly good friday night being crazy and it carried over to yesterday, which was my cousins wedding day. i mean, i still kind of had fun but...i was in trouble and felt like poo

oh and yes, the dog - i think i FINALLY found the perfect one. i mean as much of a "big dog" person as i am (i mean i love all dogs, but would love a big dog) big doggies just aren't practical. and this way he isn't a puppy and won't tear up shit. and he MIGHT be housetrained cause he was an owner surrender. so who knows. but he was so nice and wasn't even barking in the shelter like everyone else! oh and he is tiny. like the size of my fat cat haha
