I really love it so far. It's a fantastic city. The only thing that sucks is all the bureaucracy I have to deal with. Setting up a bank account, phone plan, housing contracts, school stuff (like paying a mandatory student union fee...), all takes a lot of patience. And since things are open even fewer hours here than most of Europe, you slowly are forced to adjust to everything.

All the trips I booked are for Western Europe, though (Paris & Lille, Brussels, Copenhagen, and Sweden). Those are to go meet up with people who studied at State last semester. Those will be fun, but I'm also looking forward to a few 3 day trips over the next couple of months to places like Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, etc. I'm actually going to Budapest this weekend, but would like to check out western Hungary later, which is where my family emigrated from. One of the reasons I picked Vienna was because of it's location within Europe so I could see a lot while I'm here.

I don't want to make it seem like there isn't a lot to do in Vienna, though. I've already done quite a bit...but once the weather stays consistently nice here, I have a feeling there's going to be even more stuff to do. This week the restaurants have started setting up their tables outside.
