^Hes issued more executive orders than any other president. Congress is less of a concern for this president than anyone before him.

For this page:

"James Hansen, father of climate change awareness, calls Paris talks 'a fraud' ""

This should have been right up Obama's alley. He couldn't even get this right.

So no comment on Hansen's criticism? Yall would rather discuss the semantics of who's issued more executive orders?

Whose schtick is weak?

Lol. Dude, you emphatically stated that he's issued more executive orders than any other president, which is just flat-out wrong. It's not semantics, you're just wrong.

I think a lot of people agree the Paris talks were mostly a show.

RE: Your fluff-piece article

I fail to see how this impacts Obama's Credibility. This was a world-wide summit with 190+ countries involved. What would you want him to do? There are guidelines and benchmarks for all the singing countries, at a minimum. Did you want him to strong arm almost 200 countries to fall in line with his vision for climate change reform?

So apparently, he was on that Bear Grills show talking about the effects of global warming. Maybe if he spent more time in Paris, and less time hopping around iceland, there could have been actual progress at the climate summit.

The reason the uneffectiveness of the Paris climate deal is important, is because, no matter what, we will be paying a steep price for it. So instead of making a deal that could actually effect MMGW, we will just be cutting our GDP by nearly 1%. All for a show.

^ not really Obama's fault (premiums would have risen anyway most likely), but ACA didn't address this problem with the healthcare system:

^^Not only that, every alternative proposed by the GOP would have lead to even higher premiums, a larger budget deficit, and less people insured (including doing nothing at all).

presidents don't typically go to these funerals, it's traditional for first lady. Michelle is attending the funeral

obama didn't attend fords, bush didn't johnsons, clinton didn't attend nixons, carter didn't attend eisenhowers, reagan didn't attend trumans, etc...

Quote :
"“There’s a playbook in Washington that presidents are supposed to follow,” Mr. Obama said. “And the playbook prescribes responses to different events, and these responses tend to be militarized responses.” This consensus, the president continued, can lead to bad decisions. “In the midst of an international challenge like Syria,” he said, “you are judged harshly if you don’t follow the playbook, even if there are good reasons.”"

We're going to miss Obama a lot, no matter who wins in November.

So are we ignoring that the US is a key reason for the instability? By the you-break-it-you-buy-it general principal, which is a key tenant of bird law, we should expect to have a higher burden then allies.

Response from Castro, all while Obama looked on.

"A few hours before Obama landed on the island on March 20, Cuban authorities arrested more than 50 Damas de Blanco (or Ladies in White) dissidents who were demanding increased human rights.

This round of crackdowns was actually part of a weekly ritual — arrest, release and repeat — and part of the reason why tallying the exact number of political prisoners is so difficult.

We compiled counts from several human rights and activist groups, as well as one vetted by Spanish-language network Univision. All together, the groups list 97 current political prisoners, 54 of whom appear on more than one list."

But I'm glad he was able to enjoy a baseball game during the visit. Hopefully he was able to bring home a couple Cuban cigars, since he left all of the prisoners behind. Maybe this will win him another Nobel Peace prize.
