Does anyone know how a cheap way of getting that mirror like reflection on a car part without having it chromed. The glass broke in my fog light and the weather got to it before I decided to replace the glass. Finally pulled the glass and the chrome looking interior that reflects the light is weather, chipped, damaged to put it simply. A new one costs about $130. Any ideas how I can get this same mirror like finish repaired. I've tried a chrome spray paint at the auto parts store but it doesn't look the same. Other suggestions?

Just get some high temp silver and paint it. No one will notice and it will reflect enough for fog lights. I think duplicolor makes some "chrome" spray paint too. If those don't work just hot glue on some tin foil

Are you just trying to get it to look the same as it did/as the other one? I would think that changing the coating on the reflector would fuck up the light pattern...

Yeah, I tried the duplicolor chrome paint. Better than anything I tried but still not a match to the other light. I guess I'll have to find a used one.

Carson, I married a girl down here in SC. Met her 2 weeks after I moved here.
