and its very possible to fuck an axle that bad without screwing up the housing, i did it plenty of times on a 9", you underestimate the amount of torque they are under, its not the impact, its the sudden decelleration, coming from a man who has even twisted pinion shafts before, i've seen plenty of those, they can be a bitch to get out sometimes though

the center cap is painted cause you can powedercoat plastic.why because powdercoating is teated to about 450 degrees. of course the wheel looks like ass you fuck stick. its about 2 weeks of ragged drum brake dust and i just nailed a fucking curb.

^^^But Keith, that's not a twisted pinion or a twisted axle. That motherfucker is BENT. a bending moment did that, and if you take a look at it, the bearing journal isn't even close to parallel with the splines.

And I'd wonder about the housing being true as well.

i've never seen or heard of factory black tri bars. def. wasn't 93, they weren't even out then.

fox body cobras had those turbine looking wheels.

no they're not. sn95 cobras has the 5 spoke type wheels.

tri bars came on 94+ gt's. as far as i know they never came on cobras, and were never black.

93 cobra r with chrome cap and polished lip. 94 95 get. rear discs and cobra spindles coming. i have cobra calipers but you can not use with stock line.
