Very true. Chuck should have started to recruit some more agile o lineman who are capable of such. B/c it does require that kind of line to run those kind of plays (WVU style). It just seems as if we had more trickery back in the Chow era than now.

we can't just line up and smack teams in the mouth like some of the big doggys can in the ncaa.

Ah ha, if the opposing defenders load multiple players inside the box then this would be the perfect situation for the "spread offense". Play-actions will target the line backers, then we can go deep. We can force them to play our style of football on offense.

If you've got 3 receivers, and a tight end, that gives you one person thats fucking open and 3 more that are in single coverage. what the fuck is wrong with you?

Eh...I'll take your word for it...but I'd like to see a clip of it. I remember us being on about the 20 yard line and Stone just lofts one up to the 50 that Clark had to come back for when the defender fell.

I just remember Clark running for at least 40 or 50 yards after that with no one around him.

By the time the play-action is over, we more than likely have defenders in the backfield.

And you have to throw it somewhat near the wide receivers for them to actually have a shot at making the play.
