The more and more I think about the first year I spent at state, the more and more I realize how great it was. Does anyone else feel like this about their freshman year?

Haha I lived in UT that year. It was nothing more than a drunken blur but I managed to have a 3.8 gpa that year.... that went downhill fast

I miss it too.. yet truthfully, this forum is becoming more about what we want back and not enough about whats next.

Eh, most of whats next is pretty boring. Bills, house, marriage, being a slave to corporations, etc.

Having money is cool though.

I feel that way about most of my time in college- that I should have enjoyed it more than I allowed myself to. I spent time stressed out and needlessly wasting time when I should have been glad that I was in college.

I started off in a lounge in Wood Hall. My roomie never showed, so I had it to myself. That and meeting my friends are all I really want to take away from that year. And when my girl friend was here for a semester and we ran around shooting random guys with Nerf guns while they sat unsuspecting at their desks in Owen.

me

thats 3 from Owen Hall 99 in one single thread... thats wild.

and i remember when holly and heather came back with tattoos one day. OH, and the HUGE snowstorm that pitted Tucker and Owen into a legendary snowball fight.

those lacrosse guys that came to my room and asked me if i knew any "Dave," so i started playing "Panama" because I was a rock guy, and had no clue who dave matthews was.
