I saw a show about Nostradamus. Not to put any of his stuff down, but an expert said that Nostradamus wrote so much stuff that he was bound to be correct at some point(s).

actually you cant prove him wrong because he is so vague. nobody knows what he's talking about until something happens that they can fit to it. he just said lots of random weird stuff that got applied to modern stuff. they say he predicted Kennedy's assassination, but if you read the actual quote, it hardly means anything. i could say "the big duck flies west and falls into the sea, and the dragon awakes." something in the next millenium would probably be able to fit that, but does it mean that i actually predicted anything?

here are 4 predictions by nostradamus, tell me if you can figure out what events in history they apply to...

1.) the great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt. an evil deed, foretold by the bearer or a petition. according to the prediciton another falls at night time. conflict at reims, london, and pestilence in tuscany.

2.)when the fish that travels over both land and sea is cast up on to the shore by a great wave, its shape foreign, smooth, and frightful. from the sea the enemies soon reach the walls.

3.) the bird of prey flying to the left, before battle is joined with the french, he makes preparations. some will regard him as good, others bad or uncertain. the weaker party will regard him as a good omen.

4.) shortly afterwards, not a very long interval, a great tumult will be raised by land and sea. the naval battles will be greater than ever. fires, creatures, which will make more tumult.

I doubt that we are near World War III (we will take care of the responsible here in just under 15 when we find out who they are).
Besides, there is no World leader on the forefront, no movement towards a one-world religion or government, or peace with Israel.
And besides, according to Nastradomas, there will be a plague, drought and then a famine that will drive the world to cannablism
before WW III, I havent seen any of that yet.
