my thighs are awesome and super powerful, but I wish I could trim the inside fat a little (in the last year or so they've started rubbing together and this last summer they chafed for the first time in my life)

HIIT cardio. Lunges. Curtsy Lunges.

A serving of chicken is 7g of fat, def. not breast. You'd be paying more for breast.

I used to be a breast man...but the older I get, the more I prefer legs and thighs (well...I've always preferred legs, just for the simplicity of eating with one hand).

Dark meat is just a tad bit more tasty.

Don't they use legs and legs? That's what I gathered from Wiki.

Let's start a petition to get some breasts! I don't see why not, they have brown rice now, which really isn't much healthier than white rice, tbh.

Maybe too much metcon? Change up your training a little and stu\ick with heavy barbell and HIIT 2-3 times a week ( sprints, stepmills my preference). Experiment. I don't really know how your body would respond.

^^I was recently (Dec/Jan) diagnosed with PCOS and have been on Metformin for a few months (reached my "goal" dose last month). The stubborn weight I've been gaining/carrying for a couple years is finally coming off, so I'm hoping that keeps up as I continue to eat at/under maintenance macros and keep training.

yeah our latest class is 6:30 so whenever I go through a season at work where I have to work "late" I end up going weeks/months without going to the gym or doing any consistent programming. that's the one bad thing about doing the WODs at CF (versus individual programming). I'm a night owl so when I belonged to LA fitness or whatever I would work out at 9pm or whenever.

that said, I had to DRAG myself to LA fitness, and I get legit sad when I can't go to CF.

Seeing as how Chipotle's meat servings are about double those of Moe's, I couldn't give two fucks about chips and salsa being included.

^ Interesting. I just thought since this Chipotle was new and packed, that they just fucked up on the chips...because they were fucking horrible...and tasted like all salt.

Will not be ordering chips and salsa from Chipotle in the future.

I fucking love chips and salsa. And I didn't think Chipotle's burrito was noticeably better than any Joey Bag 'o Donuts I've ever gotten at Moe's. So if I'm feeling a burrito, I'll probably head to Moe's. But everything else I'll probably get at Chipotle.

Last time I went to Moe's and was bathing in their most excellent questo, I was still wondering why I didn't go to Chipotle, and despite some effort, didn't eat much of the rest of the mush in front of me.

I work near the original Chipotle and there's an Illegal Pete's that every goes to instead right next door. So much better. Chipotle barely has any vegetables. Moe's isn't great either. Plus Chipotle doesn't have draft beer. Lunch spots have to have at least 8 beers on draft.

Quote :
"Chipotle, like Subway, doesn’t have a drive-thru, but it’s another place that can be more than worth stopping for. Bellatti has some suggestions for how to get the healthiest meal out of a place like Chipotle:

At a chain like Chipotle, a legitimately healthful meal is doable. Some of the items are high in sodium, but a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, different salsas, guacamole, and lettuce is an example of a whole-food based meal that offers plenty of nutrition. You can even throw in some sofritas in there. Of course, it is worth pointing out that it is definitely possible to have a much unhealthier meal at Chipotle...
Remember, at Chipotle the calories can add up really fast if you add in too much to your burrito or bowl. If possible, get tons of fajita veggies, lettuce, and flavorful salsas, and skip double scoops of meat or all the filler rice and beans. Go for the burrito bowls too. You’ll avoid those massive burritos that easily blow past 1000 calories. Chipotle’s salads are great options as well.

Fortunately, Chipotle makes it really easy to customize your meal, and they clearly post all of their nutrition information inside every restaurant. They even have a nutrition calculator to help you build the perfect meal for your dietary needs before you go."

Depends on your choices. Who knew?

Exactly what I said. Skip the filler items (beans and rice) and do a bowl (skip the tortilla). Focus on meat, fajitas, and veggies. Unfortunately the veggie selection at Chipotle sucks.

No drive thru no care.

Also you can't make anything at Chipotle thats remotely healthy and tasty if you add meat.

Nothing, go to their site and try making a item that includes meat and will taste worth a damn thats not 1k+ calories.

Sure you can go and get some beans and lettuce, but at that point why waste time driving to a restaurant to eat some tasteless low cal garbage.

If I eat somewhere that doesn't have a drive thru it's a real meal, not a walk in hippie mexican place.

Chipotle is fast food that requires you to leave the car. There's a subway near me that has a drive thru, its heavenly.

What's wrong with calories? Meat isn't a filler. As long as it's decent meat then it's a good source of proteins and other things.

Rice, beans (arguably), and bleached white flour (tortillas) are essentially empty calories aka filler.

If you truly care about eating healthy you shouldn't count calories you should worry about the actual real food you're eating.

Chipotle is about the complete opposite of "hipster food". First it's a large chain, second their vegan options are slim, and third it has a drive through.
