i like different brands of pickles for different reasons

mt olive is good if you want really vinegary pickles. and sometimes i do!

sometimes i like the taste of vlasic. for some reason they taste slightly diff than mt olive

and clausen is totally awesome for the crunchy, deli style pickle

i love them all really.

A girl who I met at a wedding and who I haven't seen in a year and who apparently has had a crush on me for a while and I have been talking for a week. I've been crushing on her for a long time, but I'm kind of a dolt and don't recognize the subtle difference between friendliness and genuine interest (often mistaking one for the other), so I didn't make a move until recently when I found all this out. Also, my life is in a perpetual state of transition and arrested development, so when I finally do find someone I like, I'll leave it alone to spare all of the inevitable pain and suffering that typically results from two people at two different phases at their lives trying to share each other.

So I've moved past all of my shortcomings and analyzing the shit out of my potential relationships to get close to the one girl who is more than I ever thought she could be and she sees something in me as well, which is awesome. The sad thing is we're starting off immediately long distance, but she has gone on record stating that is her preference, in the short term anyway, which is sweet.

Anyway. It's Friday. I'm in love.

That's how I do...my territory is the west coast, so I go to work at 11 and I get off at 8. It's not so bad now, but I'm sure once the summer comes it will be torture sitting inside after 5.
